I have known Elise and Ethan for a while now… Elise is also a photographer and has been my second shooter for weddings on several occasions. Each month, they celebrate their anniversary… this one was a little different. An evening of dinner at Bruno’s, gelato, and a stroll through the farmer’s market brought them to their favorite secret “spot”… in the meantime, I was hiding in the woods with my 200mm lens and butterflies in my stomach… you would have thought I was being proposed to. lol. Ethan’s dad was also there, generously hanging the vintage birdcage in preparation for the proposal. A week of rain broke way to a beautiful, sunny evening, and Ethan carried his soon to be fiance across the little creek. He lowered the vintage birdcage, and Elise read the sweet love notes that he had written… she knew that she was about to be engaged! After she read the last love note, Ethan was down on one knee asking for her hand in marriage and presenting her with a beautiful diamond ring. After hugs and kisses, she quickly glanced in my direction. Ethan knew that she must have the proposal photographed. Thank you guys for letting me share in this special moment in your lives. Happy wedding planning! Enjoy some photos from their proposal… you will notice that they have great style!!
