blake + christina | engagement

I love Blake + Christina’s love story and the fact that their engagement session was filled with lots of laughter. Blake + Christina first met back in 8th grade and became friends throughout high school as they competed in math competitions together and both eventually became class valedictorians. Christina assured me that it was ALWAYS friendly competition; their competitive nature continues today into the realms of board games and scrabble. After high school, they went their separate ways and did not reconnect until  their 3rd year of college when they started spending a lot of time studying together.  Blake asked Christina on their first official date the day before her birthday- the day that they shared their first kiss.  Since they had known each other for so long as friends, their relationship developed very easily. After the first few months, Christina realized that no other man could possibly treat her as well as Blake does and that she never wanted to live without him. The day of Blake’s proposal seemed like any other to Christina as they strolled along a familiar path, walking and talking. She was completely surprised to turn the corner into a beautiful setting of lanterns and rose petals where Blake knelt on one knee and asked Christina to be his wife. Enjoy some of the sweet photos that tell the story from their engagement session. They are the best of friends.

I wish you all the best, Blake + Christina! 🙂
